For High School Students (Except for the students of the affiliated schools)

High school students are not allowed to use the library (Excluding the students of Fukuoka University Ohori Senior High School and Fukuoka University Wakaba High School)
However, if you would like to browse certain materials in the library, you will be permitted to browse the materials, upon submitting the Application for Permission to View the Fukuoka University Library Materials (For High School Students) and being granted permission.

Procedures for using the library

  • If you wish to browse materials, prior application is necessary. Please specify the materials and follow the procedures.
  • Please confirm that the materials you requested are housed in the Fukuoka University Library by checking the library's website.
  • Please submit the Application for Permission to View the Fukuoka University Library Materials (For High School Students) no later than one week before the date you wish to examine the materials by postal mail or as an attachment via e-mail.
    The Library will notify you of whether your application has been approved or rejected no later than three days before your desired date.
  • You will not be allowed to examine materials without prior application.
  • The library cannot be used during regular examinations from January to mid-February and July to early August and entrance examinations.

When using the library

  • Please bring your student handbook on the designated date and go directly to the designated Library/Room.
  • Please notify the library in case you cancel your application.
  • Please do not leave your belongings unattended at the desk in the library.
  • Please refrain from eating, drinking, whispering, chatting, or using mobile phones outside the designated areas.
  • You may not eat in the library.
  • Smoking is prohibited in the library.
    Please note that there are "Refreshment Corners" on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the Central Library. You may drink beverages and use mobile phones in the Refreshment Corners. You may not, however, eat in these areas. Furthermore, you may not bring in and/or study materials from the library.
